Home · Privacy Policy

iPlay iLearn (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a preschool and daycare located in Medavakkam, Chennai. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website iplayilearn.co, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and other applicable laws.

1. Who we are

iPlay iLearn, No 29 & 30, Dr Bhakta Reddy Avenue, Vadakapattu Main Road, Medavakkam, Chennai – 600100, Tamil Nadu, India. For any privacy-related question, contact us at [email protected] or +91 78119 88825.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, or that is needed for the website to work:

  • Enquiry & registration details — when you use our contact or registration forms: parent/guardian name, child’s name, child’s age, class preference, email address, phone number and any message you write.
  • Chat messages — if you use the chat widget on our site, we store the conversation so our team can respond and follow up.
  • Technical data — basic, non-identifying information your browser sends automatically (such as device type and approximate region) and standard server logs, used to keep the site secure and working.

We do not ask for sensitive financial information through this website, and we do not run online payments here.

3. Children’s information

Our website is intended to be used by parents and guardians, not by children. Where details about a child (such as name and age) are submitted, we treat that information as provided by, and with the consent of, the parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has submitted information without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

4. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a campus visit or admission discussion.
  • To process registration interest and contact you about availability and next steps.
  • To send you information you have asked for about our programs, events or admissions.
  • To keep our website secure, reliable and free from misuse.

We use your information only for the purposes above, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

5. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies needed for the site to function and to help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. Our pages may also embed third-party content such as Google Maps (to show our location). These third parties may set their own cookies. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work fully if you do.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With trusted service providers who help us run the website and communicate with you — for example our website host (Cloudflare) and our email provider — and only to the extent needed for those services.
  • Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of iPlay iLearn, our families or others.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and registration information for as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate record-keeping, after which it is deleted or anonymised. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.

8. How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take care to safeguard what you share with us.

9. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Ask us to erase your information where it is no longer needed.
  • Withdraw consent you have previously given.
  • Raise a grievance about how your information is handled.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Grievance contact

If you have any concern about how your personal data is handled, please write to us at [email protected] or call +91 78119 88825. We take privacy concerns seriously and will work with you to resolve them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
